Oshawa is a city of two landscapes. Established neighbourhoods like McLaughlin, Lakeview, and Pinecrest have mature lots, older interlock that's seen too many freeze-thaw cycles, and drainage that wasn't designed for today's rainfall. Meanwhile, the north end near Windfields is adding new subdivisions every year — fresh lots with builder-grade grading and backyards that still need everything.
T.A.P Landscaping works across all of it. We've revitalized overgrown Oshawa backyards, installed interlock patios from scratch, and repaired drainage that was quietly damaging properties for years. Tyler Podlowski founded this company to fix the problems others overlook — and in Oshawa, there's no shortage of them.

Services for Oshawa Homeowners
Whether your lot is brand new or your lawn has been struggling for years, we assess the soil and grade first. Good sod starts below the surface.
Older Oshawa properties and new builds alike can develop serious drainage issues. We find where water is going and fix it before it causes damage.
Sloped or uneven lots need walls that are built right — proper drainage behind them, solid base below. We build them to hold for decades.
From new patio installs to repairing interlock that's shifted through Ontario winters — we build and restore hardscaping that lasts.
Fresh garden beds, edging, and planting that adds curb appeal and works with Durham Region's growing seasons.
Season-long service. We clear driveways and walkways across Oshawa all winter, and deliver treated salt to homeowners who do it themselves.
Oshawa's real estate market rewards well-maintained outdoor spaces. A finished backyard, a repaired front walkway, or a properly drained lot isn't just about looks — it protects the property and adds real value.
T.A.P is owner-operated. Tyler is on-site, not managing from an office. That means direct communication, clear timelines, and someone who personally stands behind the work. No subcontractors, no surprises.

I've worked with T.A.P Landscaping on a bunch of projects over the last year, and every time it's been a pleasure. Tyler’s communication is bang on, his landscaping knowledge is top-notch, and you can tell he really cares about his clients. He shows up when he says he will, does great work, and is just an all-around solid guy to work with. Looking forward to teaming up on more jobs down the road.

Completely transformed the front of the shed. A joy to look at. And rabbit proofed the garden, too! Amazing work Tyler. You just keep outdoing yourself, 4 seasons a year.
My interlock is cracking and lifting — can it be repaired?
Often yes. Freeze-thaw cycles in Ontario cause shifting and heaving, especially in older installs without a proper compacted base. We assess whether repair or full replacement makes more sense for your situation.
Do you work across all Oshawa neighbourhoods?
Yes. We've completed projects throughout Oshawa, including McLaughlin, Lakeview, Pinecrest, and the newer north-end developments near Windfields Farm.
Do you provide a quote before starting?
Always. We visit the property, assess what's needed, and send a clear quote before any work begins. No surprises.
Do you work year-round in Oshawa?
Yes. Landscaping and hardscaping through spring, summer, and fall, and snow removal and salting all winter.
