Courtice-based company
Courtice is one of Durham Region's fastest-growing communities. New subdivisions off Courtice Road and Highway 2 bring bigger lots — and backyards that need everything from proper grading to finished interlock. We've completed sod, patio, and drainage projects throughout Courtice and know the clay-heavy soil and builder grading issues specific to newer builds here.
Tyler Podlowski founded T.A.P Landscaping with a simple principle: solve the problems others overlook. On a recent Courtice job, that meant removing nearly 9 tons of river rock before any landscaping work could even begin. We fix the foundation first.

Services for Courtice Homeowners
Builder-grade topsoil is often thin and clay-heavy in new Courtice subdivisions. We grade first, then sod — so it actually lasts.
Poor grading from new builds causes water pooling and dead sod. We find and fix the root cause.
Sloped lots and shifting soil are common in Courtice. We build walls that hold.
Custom interlock patios built for Ontario winters. We've completed multiple patio installs in Courtice.
Fresh garden beds that add curb appeal and grow well in Durham Region's seasons.
Year-round service. We handle snow removal and salting for Courtice properties every winter.
A well-finished backyard does more than look good. In Courtice's growing market, professional landscaping increases property value, reduces maintenance headaches from poor grading, and creates outdoor space your family actually uses.
Unlike large franchise companies, T.A.P is owner-operated. Tyler is on-site, not managing from an office. You get direct communication, clear timelines, and someone who stands behind the work personally.

★★★★★ Ian Landry
Tyler is diligent, affordable and takes great pride in his work. He's done multiple jobs around my house and landscaped my yard for my own wedding photos and did a wonderful job going above and beyond to offer sound advice and recommendations for materials and designs.
My builder's sod died — why?
New Courtice subdivisions often have thin topsoil over clay. Without proper grading and amended soil, sod roots can't establish. We assess the base before laying anything new.
How long does a patio installation take?
Most Courtice patio projects take 2–4 days depending on size and base preparation needed.
Do you work year-round in Courtice?
Yes — we do landscaping and hardscaping through spring, summer, and fall, and offer snow removal and salting all winter.
Do you provide a quote before starting?
Always. We visit the property, assess what's needed, and send a clear quote before any work begins. No surprises.
